Frida

Concept for a restaurant & bar, based in the twisted but creative personality of Frida.

Capturing the essence of the iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. I sought to create a dining and bar experience that showcased the creative and bold spirit of Frida, combining elements of Mexican elegance with a touch of mystery and darkness. The challenge was to create two distinct atmospheres for both the restaurant and bar environments.

I rose to the challenge by developing an elegant and captivating brand, with a focus on striking illustrations inspired by Frida's life and work. These illustrations are designed to come alive in the bar environment, through the use of ultraviolet light to reveal hidden themes and emotions.

In the restaurant, I utilized bold colors to highlight the Mexican elegance and classiness of Frida's era, creating an atmosphere that truly embodies the spirit of Frida Kahlo. Overall, the Frida concept and branding project was a unique and challenging endeavor that allowed me to showcase my creative skills and design abilities.
